Something Else Entirely
This is the oddest thing on this label so far, and that's saying something believe me. This is a short, almost classical piece (quite short though) for a mind boggling combination of viola and six bass guitars. Somehow it works - the viola has a dry feel that makes me think of Morton feldman, and the piece feels like a concerto for the viola. The six basses, are played in a spacious, microtonal fashion and rarely sound like a full sextet. Things take an unexpected turn on "Boudior" when the fuzz boxes appear and the viola is strummed violently - you get a hint of out-there 70s prog - but only a hint, before it settles back into the more sombre mood. "The Seventh Tenant" is beautifully recorded and well worth 20 minutes of your time.

I was warned/notified
This is experimental noise... downtempo. A nice ambient filler and the sound quality is pretty good.
